Kentucky High School Football - South Laurel fells Perry County Central
October 3, 2025: London, KY 40744 The South Laurel Cardinals felled the visiting Perry County Central Commodores football team by a score of 28-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Cardinals face the Pulaski County Maroons (Somerset, KY) in a 5A District 8 challenge, on Friday, October 10. South Laurel will attempt to improve on its 7-0 season record. The Maroons go into the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 35-0 non-league loss to South Warren (Bowling Green, KY).
The Commodores (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels go into the 4A District 8 challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Whitley County lost by North Laurel (London, KY), 42-0, in a non-league test.
