The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Valley Christian Trojans (Chandler, AZ) and the host Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ), witnessed Valley Christian's football squad knock off Seton Catholic by a tally of 48-38.

The Trojans (6-1) will now prepare for their contest against Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ). The Minotaur enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last bout, Odyssey Institute dropped by Kingman (Kingman, AZ), 21-13, in a league bout.

The Sentinels now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to River Valley for a non-league bout on Friday, October 17. Seton Catholic will encounter a Dust Devils team coming off a 71-0 league win over Wickenburg (Wickenburg, AZ). The Dust Devils record now stands at 4-3.
