Arizona High School Football - Valley Christian sneaks past Gilbert Christian

The Valley Christian Trojans football squad scored 27 points and limited the visiting Gilbert Christian Knights to 20 in the Trojans league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Trojans face the ALA - Ironwood Warriors (Ironwood, AZ) in a 3A Metro challenge, on Friday, October 31. Valley Christian will attempt to improve on its 8-1 season record. The Warriors enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 28-0 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).

The Knights (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ). The Prospectors enter the non-league challenge with a 1-8 record. In their last challenge, Apache Junction was edged by Round Valley (Eagar, AZ), 49-6, in a league challenge.
