California High School Football - Oceanside thwarted by San Marcos
October 3, 2025: Oceanside, CA 92054 San Marcos Knights (San Marcos, CA) boosters left the game content Friday as they observed their football squad top the host Oceanside Pirates (Oceanside, CA), 29-12 in a non-league test.
The Knights now hold a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to La Costa Canyon for a test on Friday, October 10. San Marcos will meet a Mavericks squad coming off a 31-10 league win over Mission Hills (San Marcos, CA). The Mavericks record now stands at 5-1.
The Pirates (0-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Del Norte (San Diego, CA). The Nighthawks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, Del Norte Rancho Bernardo (San Diego, CA), 7-7, in a non-league test.
