October 3, 2025: Newington, CT 06111 Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Newington Nor'easters (Newington, CT), 3-2 in a league test.
With the win, Berlin improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Redcoats host Wethersfield (Wethersfield, CT) to face the Eagles in a Central Connecticut - South test on Monday, October 6. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 7-5. Wethersfield won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Maloney (Meriden, CT)
Next, the Nor'easters meet the Middletown Blue Dragons (Middletown, CT) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, October 6. Newington will attempt to upgrade on its 2-11 season record. The Blue Dragons come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 3-2 league loss to Rocky Hill (Rocky Hill, CT).
