Springtown Porcupines (Springtown, TX) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Decatur Eagles (Decatur, TX), 3-1 in a league test.

With the win, Springtown upgrades its record to 34-8 on the year. The Porcupines host Krum (Krum, TX) to meet the Bobcats in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge on Tuesday, October 7. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a record of 18-14. Krum lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX)

Next, the Eagles meet the Castleberry Lions (Fort Worth, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Decatur will attempt to upgrade on its 31-5 season record. The Lions enter the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 3-2 league loss to Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX).
