The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC) and the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), saw South Rowan's volleyball squad beat Central Cabarrus by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, South Rowan upgrades its record to 17-5 on the year. The Raiders host East Rowan (Salisbury, NC) to play the Mustangs in a South Piedmont 3A bout on Wednesday, October 11. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 9-10.

The Vikings now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they host West Rowan for a South Piedmont 3A bout on Monday, October 9. Central Cabarrus will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 13-6.
