The Central Cabarrus Vikings volleyball team (Concord, NC), went down 3-0 in Thursday's league challenge with the visiting South Rowan Raiders (China Grove, NC)

The Raiders (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Robinson (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs enter the Yadkin Valley 1A/2A challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Robinson defeated Hopewell (Huntersville, NC), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Vikings encounter the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A challenge, on Tuesday, September 5. Central Cabarrus will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC).
