Michigan High School Football - Elk Rapids falls to Charlevoix
October 4, 2024: Charlevoix, MI 49720 The Charlevoix Rayders felled the visiting Elk Rapids Elks football team by a score of 28-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Rayders face the Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 11. Charlevoix will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Ironmen go into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 43-28 league loss to East Jordan (East Jordan, MI).
The Elks (1-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Tawas Area (Tawas City, MI). The Braves go into the Northern Michigan - Leaders challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Tawas Area lost by Frankfort (Frankfort, MI), 41-0, in a non-league challenge.
