The Elizabeth Forward Warriors football squad scored 56 points and limited the host Derry Trojans to 14 in the Warriors league triumph on Friday.

The Warriors now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Yough for a WPIAL AAA Interstate test on Friday, October 11. Elizabeth Forward will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 53-34 league loss to Southmoreland (Alverton, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Derry drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Greensburg Salem (Greensburg, PA) to clash with the Golden Lions in a WPIAL AAA Interstate test on Friday, October 11. The Golden Lions come into the test with a record of 4-3. Greensburg Salem lost 28-21 in their recent non-league test against Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, PA)
