Kentucky High School Football - Dixie Heights crushed by Highlands
October 4, 2024: Fort Thomas, KY 41075 The Highlands Bluebirds walloped the visiting Dixie Heights Colonels football team by a score of 49-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Bluebirds face the Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY) in a 5A District 6 challenge, on Friday, October 11. Highlands will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Rebels go into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 27-6 league loss to Scott (Covington, KY).
The Colonels (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Conner (Hebron, KY). The Cougars go into the 5A District 6 challenge with a 5-2 record. In their last challenge, Conner was ripped by Cooper (Union, KY), 42-17, in a league challenge.
