October 4, 2024: Powers, OR 97466 The Powers Cruisers walloped the visiting Gilchrist Grizzlies football team by a score of 62-0 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cruisers face the Elkton Elks (Elkton, OR) in a 1A Special District 2 - South (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 11. Powers will attempt to improve on its 5-0 season record. The Elks go into the challenge with a 0-5 record after their 39-25 league loss to Crow (Eugene, OR).
The Grizzlies (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against North Lake (Silver Lake, OR). The Cowboys go into the 1A Special District 2 - South (6 Man) challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, North Lake bounced McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR), 68-20, in a league challenge.
