Oregon High School Football - North Lake trounced by Powers
September 21, 2024: Silver Lake, OR 97638 Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team triumph over the host North Lake Cowboys (Silver Lake, OR), 66-19 in a league battle.
With the win, Powers advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Cruisers travel to McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Special District 2 - South (6 Man) battle on Friday, September 27. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 1-2. McKenzie lost 28-12 in their recent league battle against Crow (Eugene, OR)
The Cowboys now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Siletz Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, September 28. North Lake will play a team coming off a 47-0 league loss to Triangle Lake (Blachly, OR). The record now stands at 1-2.
