October 5, 2024: Silver Lake, OR 97638 The North Lake Cowboys walloped the visiting McKenzie Eagles football team by a score of 68-20 in Saturday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Cowboys face the Gilchrist Grizzlies (Gilchrist, OR) in a 1A Special District 2 - South (6 Man) challenge, on Saturday, October 12. North Lake will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 62-0 league loss to Powers (Powers, OR).
The Eagles (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington School for the Deaf (Vancouver, WA). The Terriers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Washington School for the Deaf bounced Lake Quinault (Amanda Park, WA), 40-29, in a league challenge.
