The Knoch Knights football team (Saxonburg, PA), was crushed 42-7 in Friday's league bout with the visiting Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA)

With the win, Mars advances its record to 3-4 on the season. The Fightin' Planets host McKeesport (McKeesport, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny bout on Friday, October 11. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-4. McKeesport won 40-20 in their recent league bout against West Mifflin (West Mifflin, PA)

The Knights now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Hampton for a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny bout on Friday, October 11. Knoch will encounter a Talbots team coming off a 35-7 league win over Indiana (Indiana, PA). The Talbots record now stands at 3-4.
