Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team nip the host Tower Hill Hillers (Wilmington, DE), 36-33 in a league battle.

With the win, Mount Pleasant advances its record to 4-1 on the season. The Green Knights host Archmere Academy (Claymont, DE) to encounter the Auks in a 2A District 2 battle on Thursday, October 10. The Auks go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Archmere Academy won 20-14 in their recent non-league battle against Delaware Military Academy (Wilmington, DE)

The Hillers now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tatnall for a non-league battle on Friday, October 11. Tower Hill will encounter a Hornets team coming off a 33-6 league win over McKean (Wilmington, DE). The Hornets record now stands at 5-0.
