The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA) and the visiting West Branch Warriors (Morrisdale, PA), witnessed Southern Huntingdon County's football squad knock off West Branch by a tally of 22-7.

The Rockets (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Union (Mount Union, PA). The Trojans enter the Inter-County - North contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Mount Union gained a win over Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA), 46-0, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Warriors battle the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a Inter-County - North contest, on Friday, October 11. West Branch will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 47-0 league loss to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA).
