Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Southern Huntingdon County Rockets (Three Springs, PA), 41-14 in a league battle.

With the win, Moshannon Valley advances its record to 1-2 on the season. The Black Knights/Damsels travel to Glendale (Flinton, PA) to play the Vikings in a Inter-County - North battle on Friday, September 13. The Vikings go into the battle with a record of 3-0. Glendale won 27-7 in their recent league battle against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA)

The Rockets now own a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Curwensville for a Inter-County - North battle on Friday, September 13. Southern Huntingdon County will play a Golden Tide team coming off a 49-7 league loss to Mount Union (Mount Union, PA). The Golden Tide record now stands at 0-3.
