The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Moshannon Valley Black Knights/Damsels (Houtzdale, PA) and the visiting Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), witnessed Moshannon Valley's football squad knock off Mount Union by a tally of 18-6.

The Black Knights/Damsels (3-2) will now prepare for their contest against Juniata Valley (Alexandria, PA). The Hornets enter the Inter-County - North contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Juniata Valley gained a win over West Branch (Morrisdale, PA), 49-16, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Trojans battle the Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA) in a Inter-County - North contest, on Friday, September 27. Mount Union will attempt to better on its 4-1 season record. The Vikings enter the contest with a 4-1 record after their 40-22 league win over Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA).
