Pennsylvania High School Football - Mount Union holds off Glendale

September 27, 2024: Mount Union, PA 17066

The Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA) football tipped the visiting Glendale Vikings (Flinton, PA), 38-31 in Friday's league outing.

The Trojans now sport a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Juniata Valley for a Inter-County - North outing on Friday, October 4. Mount Union will clash with a Hornets squad coming off a 38-21 league loss to Moshannon Valley (Houtzdale, PA). The Hornets record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Glendale drops to 4-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Claysburg-Kimmel (Claysburg, PA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Inter-County - North outing on Friday, October 4. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 4-2. Claysburg-Kimmel won 59-28 in their recent league outing against Southern Huntingdon County (Three Springs, PA)
