In Friday's non-league match, the Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) volleyball squad tipped the visiting Leon Lions (Tallahassee, FL), by a count of 2-1.

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Harmony Longhorns (Harmony, FL) in a non-league match, on Friday, October 4. Merritt Island will attempt to move on its 18-5 season record. The Longhorns enter the match with a 11-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Osceola (Kissimmee, FL).
