Maine High School Football - John Bapst Memorial winner over Maranacook

October 4, 2025: Bangor, ME 04401

The John Bapst Memorial Crusaders (Bangor, ME) football knocked off the visiting Maranacook Black Bears (Readfield, ME), 47-20 in Saturday's league contest.

The Crusaders (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Belfast (Belfast, ME). The Lions enter the D North contest with a 0-5 record. In their last contest, Belfast was toppled by Maine Central Institute (Pittsfield, ME), 37-27, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Black Bears encounter the Freeport Falcons (Freeport, ME) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 10. Maranacook will attempt to advance on its 1-4 season record. The Falcons go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 26-12 league win over Lisbon (Lisbon Falls, ME).
