Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the University Prep Panthers (Redding, CA) and the host Ashland Grizzlies (Ashland, OR), observed University Prep's volleyball squad notch a victory over Ashland by a score of 2-0.

With the win, University Prep improves its record to 21-8 on the season. The Panthers travel to Yreka (Yreka, CA) to encounter the Miners in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 4. The Miners go into the battle with a record of 13-10. Yreka won 3-0 in their recent league battle against Lassen (Susanville, CA)
