East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, East Lake improves its record to 19-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Sickles (Tampa, FL) to face the Gryphons in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Gryphons come into the challenge with a record of 8-12. Sickles won 3-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Newsome (Lithia, FL)
