Missouri High School Volleyball - Southwest over Purdy

In Saturday's league challenge, the host Southwest Trojans volleyball team scored a 2-0 win over the Purdy Eagles.

With the win, Southwest advances its record to 8-15 on the season. The Trojans host Crane (Crane, MO) to play the Pirates in a non-league challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Pirates come into the challenge with a record of 9-11. Crane won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Hurley (Hurley, MO)

Next, the Eagles play the Galena Bears (Galena, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Purdy will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Bears go into the game with a 15-11 record after their 3-0 league loss to Billings (Billings, MO).
