Wisconsin High School Volleyball - Superior over Somerset

In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Superior Spartans volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Somerset Spartans.

The Spartans (11-17) will now prepare for their challenge against Grand Rapids (Grand Rapids, MN). The Thunderhawks come into the Lake Superior challenge with a 13-5 record. In their last challenge, Grand Rapids beat Greenway (Coleraine, MN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Osceola Chieftains (Osceola, WI) in a Middle Border challenge, on Tuesday, October 7. Somerset will attempt to advance on its 9-9 season record. The Chieftains go into the test with a 14-13 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Croix Falls (St. Croix Falls, WI).
