October 5, 2023: Bend, OR 97701 The Bend Lava Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Mountain View Cougars to 1 in the Lava Bears league victory on Thursday.
The Lava Bears now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caldera for a 5A Intermountain game on Wednesday, October 11. Bend will meet a team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Ridgeview (Redmond, OR). The record now stands at 7-14.
The Cougars (9-9) will now prepare for their game against Redmond (Redmond, OR). The Panthers enter the 5A Intermountain game with a 5-17 record. In their last game, Redmond dropped by Summit (Bend, OR), 3-1, in a league game.
