In Thursday's league contest, the Bend Lava Bears (Bend, OR) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Summit Storm (Bend, OR), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Lava Bears face the Del Norte Warriors (Crescent City, CA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, September 30. Bend will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 14-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Ferndale (Ferndale, CA).
