In Thursday's non-league contest, the Western Panthers (Russiaville, IN) volleyball squad were winner over the host Taylor Titans (Kokomo, IN), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Panthers face the Frankfort Hot Dogs (Frankfort, IN) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, October 7. Western will attempt to better on its 19-7 season record. The Hot Dogs go into the contest with a 11-16 record after their 3-0 league loss to Danville (Danville, IN).
