October 5, 2024: Palos Heights, IL 60463 The Shepard Astros topped the visiting Andrew Thunderbolts volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league game.
Next up, the Astros face the Thornton Fractional North Meteors (Calumet City, IL) in a South Suburban game, on Tuesday, October 8. Shepard will attempt to advance on its 16-8 season record. The Meteors go into the game with a 11-14 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Thornwood (South Holland, IL).
The Thunderbolts (7-16) will now prepare for their game against Argo (Summit, IL). The Argonauts go into the non-league game with a 6-11 record. In their last game, Argo gained a win over Hillcrest (Country Club Hills, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
