October 6, 2022: Boonville, NC 27011

Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 3-2 in a league match.

Next up, the Rams clash with the Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC) in a Northwest 1A match, on Tuesday, October 11. Starmount will attempt to advance on its 12-7 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 15-3 record after their 3-2 league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC).

With the loss, South Stokes drops to 4-14 on the campaign. The Sauras travel to East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a Northwest 1A match on Monday, October 10.
