October 6, 2023: Lovingston, VA 22949 Appomattox County Raiders (Appomattox, VA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team rout the host Nelson County Governors (Lovingston, VA), 42-7 in a league test.
With the win, Appomattox County improves its record to 2-5 on the season. The Raiders host Chatham (Chatham, VA) to confront the Cavaliers in a Dogwood test on Friday, October 13. The Cavaliers go into the test with a record of 5-1. Chatham won 26-20 in their recent league test against William Campbell (Naruna, VA)
With the loss, Nelson County moves to 4-3 on the season. The Governors travel to Dan River (Ringgold, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a Dogwood test on Friday, October 13. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-4. Dan River lost 40-22 in their recent league test against Altavista (Altavista, VA)
