October 6, 2023: Coraopolis, PA 15108 The Cornell Raiders football team (Coraopolis, PA), was beaten 21-13 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Bishop Canevin Crusaders (Pittsburgh, PA)
The Crusaders (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Chartiers-Houston (Houston, PA). The Buccaneers come into the WPIAL A Black Hills challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Chartiers-Houston was beaten by Carlynton (Carnegie, PA), 32-24, in a league challenge.
The Raiders now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Cherry for a WPIAL A Black Hills challenge on Friday, October 13. Cornell will meet a Rangers team coming off a 42-8 league win over Avella (Avella, PA). The Rangers record now stands at 7-0.
