The Fort Cherry Rangers held off the host Bishop Canevin Crusaders football team by a count of 48-41 in Saturday's league outing.

With the win, Fort Cherry upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Rangers travel to Avella (Avella, PA) to encounter the Eagles in a WPIAL A Black Hills outing on Friday, October 6. The Eagles go into the outing with a record of 3-3. Avella won 32-28 in their recent league outing against Carlynton (Carnegie, PA)
