In Friday's league match, the host Clinton Dark Horses football squad scored a big 56-15 victory over the Red Springs Red Devils.

In their next game, the Dark Horses clash with the Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) in a 2A Southeastern match, on Friday, October 13. Clinton will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Raiders enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 51-24 league win over West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC).

The Red Devils (3-4) will now prepare for their match against Fairmont (Fairmont, NC). The Golden Tornadoes enter the 2A Southeastern match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Fairmont was crushed by St. Pauls (St. Pauls, NC), 35-6, in a league match.
