In Friday's league match, the visiting Palmerton Blue Bombers football squad scored a big 60-20 victory over the Salisbury Township Falcons.

In their next game, the Blue Bombers clash with the North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Red match, on Friday, October 13. Palmerton will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 6-1 record after their 41-6 league win over Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA).

The Falcons (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Pine Grove (Pine Grove, PA). The Cardinals enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - Red match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Pine Grove was crushed by Tamaqua (Tamaqua, PA), 42-3, in a league match.
