The Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) football routed the host Upper Merion Area Vikings (King of Prussia, PA), 49-13 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the face the Pottstown Trojans (Pottstown, PA) in a Pioneer - Frontier bout, on Friday, October 13. Pope John Paul II will attempt to move on its 7-0 season record. The Trojans enter the bout with a 4-3 record after their 6-0 league win over Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA).

The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their bout against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA). The Falcons enter the Pioneer - Frontier bout with a 3-4 record. In their last bout, Pottsgrove was crushed by Phoenixville (Phoenixville, PA), 37-7, in a league bout.
