Mississippi High School Football - Wesson routs Port Gibson

The Wesson Cobras football squad scored 45 points and limited the visiting Port Gibson Blue Waves to 12 in the Cobras league win on Friday.

The Cobras now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin County for a 3A Region 7 battle on Friday, October 13. Wesson will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 34-16 league loss to Jefferson County (Fayette, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.

Coming up next, the Blue Waves play the Franklin County Bulldogs (Meadville, MS) in a 3A Region 7 battle, on Friday, October 20. Port Gibson will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.
