Maryland High School Soccer - Clarksburg knocks off Paint Branch
October 6, 2025: Clarksburg, MD 21216 Fans at Monday's non-league battle between the Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) and the visiting Paint Branch Panthers (Burtonsville, MD), saw Clarksburg's soccer squad triumph over Paint Branch by a score of 6-1.
The Coyotes (3-7) will now prepare for their battle against Gaithersburg (Gaithersburg, MD). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Gaithersburg was overwhelmed by Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD), 4-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Panthers confront the Churchill Bulldogs (Potomac, MD) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 8. Paint Branch will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the test with a 0-2 record after their 1-1 league Walter Johnson (Bethesda, MD).
