In Monday's league challenge, the host Riverton Parke Panthers volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Covington Trojans.

The Panthers (22-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Fountain Central (Veedersburg, IN). The Mustangs come into the Wabash River challenge with a 7-14 record.

Next, the Trojans play the Crawfordsville Athenians (Crawfordsville, IN) in a non-league game, on Thursday, October 9. Covington will attempt to advance on its 16-12 season record. The Athenians go into the game with a 20-8 record after their 3-1 league win over Frankfort (Frankfort, IN).
