The Floyd Central Highlanders volleyball team (Floyds Knobs, IN), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Carmel Greyhounds (Carmel, IN)

The Greyhounds (14-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Mt. Vernon (Fortville, IN). The Marauders come into the non-league challenge with a 14-12 record. In their last challenge, Mt. Vernon was edged by New Palestine (New Palestine, IN), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Highlanders encounter the Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 7. Floyd Central will attempt to move on its 21-10 season record.
