The George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) football edged the host Fort Bend Bush Broncos (Richmond, TX), 20-17 in Saturday's league bout.

In their next game, the Longhorns face the Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 bout, on Friday, October 14. George Ranch will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Hurricanes enter the bout with a 4-2 record after their 45-14 league win over Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
