In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Allen East Mustangs volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hardin Northern Polar Bears.

The Mustangs (16-4) will now prepare for their battle against Bluffton (Bluffton, OH). The Pirates come into the Northwest battle with a 13-7 record. In their last battle, Bluffton achieved victory over Columbus Grove (Columbus Grove, OH), 3-0, in a league battle.
