The Middle Creek Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Apex Friendship Patriots to 1 in the Mustangs league victory on Monday.

The Mustangs now possess a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Level for a Southwest Wake 4A game on Tuesday, October 10. Middle Creek will meet a Gators team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Green Hope (Cary, NC). The Gators record now stands at 15-4.

The Patriots (4-12) will now prepare for their game against Cary (Cary, NC). The Imps enter the Southwest Wake 4A game with a 5-15 record. In their last game, Cary defeated Sanderson (Raleigh, NC), 3-1, in a non-league game.
