Virginia High School Football - Luray sneaks past Madison County
October 9, 2024: Luray, VA 22835 The Luray Bulldogs football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Madison County Mountaineers to 29 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Strasburg for a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. Luray will meet a Rams squad coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Rams record now stands at 2-5.
With the defeat, Madison County drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Mountaineers host Central Woodstock (Woodstock, VA) to meet the Falcons in a non-league test on Wednesday, October 16. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 6-0. Central Woodstock won 33-22 in their recent non-league test against Clarke County (Berryville, VA)
