In Thursday's league match, the host Leigh Longhorns football squad scored a close 22-21 victory over the Christopher Cougars.

The Longhorns (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA). The Saints go into the battle with a 2-1 record.
