Skutt Catholic SkyHawks (Omaha, NE) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Grand Island Central Catholic Crusaders (Grand Island, NE), 15-3 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Skutt Catholic improves its record to 23-5 on the year. The SkyHawks host Lakeview (Columbus, NE) to confront the Vikings in a non-league battle on Saturday, October 11. The Vikings come into the battle with a record of 15-8. Lakeview won 6-2 in their recent non-league battle against Wahoo (Wahoo, NE)

With the loss, Grand Island Central Catholic moves to 12-13 on the season. The Crusaders travel to Aurora (Aurora, NE) to confront the Huskies in a non-league battle on Thursday, November 6.
