South Carolina High School Volleyball - Aiken over Midland Valley

In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the Midland Valley Mustangs.

The Fighting Green Hornets (15-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The War Eagles enter the AAAA Region 4 challenge with a 17-4 record. In their last test, Gray Collegiate Academy was defeated by South Aiken (Aiken, SC), 3-2, in a league test.

The Mustangs now own a 6-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Aiken for a AAAA Region 4 game on Tuesday, October 14. Midland Valley will face a Thoroughbreds squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 20-10.
