The Polo Marcos volleyball squad (Polo, IL), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's league battle with the host Fulton Steamers (Fulton, IL)

With the win, Fulton improves its record to 19-8 on the season. The Steamers travel to Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL) to battle the Raiders in a Northwest Upstate Illini contest on Tuesday, October 14. The Raiders enter the contest with a record of 4-12.

Next, the Marcos battle the Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) in a Northwest Upstate Illini contest, on Tuesday, October 14. Polo will attempt to move on its 13-8 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 18-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL).
