Eastland Cougars (Lanark, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Polo Marcos (Polo, IL), 2-0 in a league test.

With the win, Eastland advances its record to 12-3 on the season. The Cougars travel to Ashton-Franklin Center (Ashton, IL) to face the Raiders in a Northwest Upstate Illini test on Tuesday, September 23. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 2-6. Ashton-Franklin Center lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Pearl City (Pearl City, IL)

Next, the Marcos play the Pearl City Wolves (Pearl City, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Polo will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 2-1 league loss to Durand (Durand, IL).
